Westfield Miscellanea

Skip over navigation

Westfield Miscellanea consists of exactly that, one-off writings, meanderings, etc. that don't really fit anywhere on the site, but which I would like to present anyway. The list below is roughly broken into two general categories. "Articles" tend to be serious musings on politics and the like, whereas "Features" includes attempts at humor and more light-hearted work.

It's not quite that clear-cut of course, but if I spent too much time trying to categorize, it could hardly be called miscellanea, no?

Much of the below either originated on or was expanded from The Table of malContents.

Written by Gabriel Ash
The American response to September 11th did not change the terms of international relations. It only enhanced and deepened a trend that was manifest in Bush's foreign policy from the beginning.
